Making Simple Syrup
This syrup is super simple, you are basically melting sugar in water. While that sounds like a recipe for diabetes it is the quickest way to make a good cake a great cake in a matter for squeezes.
Step 1 - Combined Ingredients
Measure out equal parts of sugar and water and pour them into a saucepan.

Step 2 - Dissolve
Place the saucepan on a low heat and simmer until the sugar has completely dissolved into the water.

Step 3 - Squeeze
Once the sugar has dissolved, let the syrup cool down. Once cooled pour the syrup into a squeeze bottle.
When you are assembling your next cake squeeze out your syrup to soak into each layer to make your cake moist and tasty.
