Can you make a cake for me?
Nope, right now I am making cakes purely for friends, family and fun, sorry.
Do I need to buy ingredients from specialty stores?
Almost all of the ingredients I use can be purchased at an ordinary supermarket. Some decorating items you may not be able to find at a supermarket but are becoming more accessible as the popularity of cake making grows.
How long does it take to get good at cake making?
That is a hard question to answer, but in general it doesn’t take long before you are comfortable with what you are making. It just depends on how often you are able to bake, one of the best tips I can give is to watch videos of cake decorators while you aren’t able to bake. That way you can see the techniques that others use and apply them when you are practicing your own cake making.
